Philip B started his career in Boston and later moved to Los Angeles. It is there that he became concerned with the number of clients coming to him with severely over-processed hair that wasn't responding to any of the conditioning treatments available at the time. He began a quest to create products that would ensure performance and results.

The first product that was created was Philip B Rejuvenating Oil, a hair-conditioning oil light enough to penetrate the hair shaft without leaving hair sticky, heavy or limp. Through word-of-mouth, the product became a huge success with clients, celebrities and beauty editors alike. The Rejuvenating Oil remains the flagship treatment product of the Philip B brand today.

Philip B remains completely involved in his business, from continuing to formulate products, sourcing new ingredients to keeping in touch with the needs of customers and fans to ensure a product line that continues to deliver on it's promises.
